Rwanda is a rural country with about 90% of the population engaged in (subsistence) agriculture. Its primary exports are coffee, tea, flowers and minerals. Tourism is a growing sector, notably ecotourism (Nyungwe Forest, Lake Kivu) and the world famous and unique mountain gorillas in the Virunga park.
