As an expert in stevedoring (vessel loading and unloading) and materials handling and storahe ashore, SAGA performs handling operations an over 6 million tones of merchandises yearly.

With strong increase in seaport activity, dry ports, (located close to seaports are more and more likely to become a port of call for vessels thereby avoiding overcrowding in the principal seaport. They have become logistics platforms… of themselves combining the different modes of transport, both road and rail, as well as, all customs formalities.

• Vessel stevedoring
  High performance and high tech equipment combined with well trained personnel are called to respond to the new standards in port productivity and ever-more difficult requirements of steamship lines. In Africa, SAGA has over 6000 vehicles used exclusively for such services.
• Materials handling and storage offshore
  All types of handling related services are provided for SAGA customers: in bond transfers, offloading of containers and of bulk freight, empty container, transfer and handling, container unloading and bagging.

All operations are in conformity with international QHSE norms.
